Colorado Gem and Mineral Co. has been in business since 1973 and is based now in Tempe, Arizona. The owner, Jack Lowell is a geologist and has spent years in foreign countries looking for quality mineral specimens at affordable prices. New discovery of fine Aquamarine crystals. Some of the finest ever for form and color have been mined in Thanh Hoa Province of northern Vietnam. Very limited availablity. Check our minerals A-G section under Beryl to see our selection.

We just acquired a 500 piece lot of Faden Quartz from South Waziristan, on the border with Pakistan and Afghanistan. These are chains or compound crystals that have mended, knit, and augmented links between two sides of the fault. We have crystals from miniature to cabinet size, showing incredible habits and distortions of Quartz. (In the Quartz section)

We have over 500 specimens of Epidote found in Waziristan, Pakistan this past year. Rare habits include tabular hexagonal crystals, and pseudo octahedral crystals, sometimes in combination. Epidote is generally found in prismatic habit and is monoclinic. There are also some rare twins. Check minerals A-G for a selection online, and inquire for wholesale lots.
