From Ghazni Province in Afghanistan we obtained a small but select lot of unusual garnet specimens on Serpentine, with chromium as a color agent. We have used xray diffraction and microprobe to confirm them as Andradite garnet, if darker green they are demantoid. See these in minerals A-G.
