Locality: Quetta, Baluchistan
The locality is not exact, but these Epidotes were found near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in the last few months. We have only a small limited number. The habit is unique, six-sided flat crystals. And huge euhedral crystals, not attached to matrix. Geologic origin is murky. This is our best one, two six sided discs with smaller ones, a floater. other views available on request. You will not find this habit of Epidote in most scientific references. Epidote is almost always prismatic.
