Chabazite on Smoky Quartz
A very rare occurence of a zeolite on smoky quartz. The piece on the other side is a very aesthetic group of extremely black, brilliant smoky quartz crystals. There are also two unidentified minerals in micro size, green transparent acicular crystals, and another zeolite perhaps. The specimen
is two in one, a beautiful smoky quartz group, and on the other side sharp orange Chabazites.
Chabazite is a tectosilicate mineral of the zeolite group, closely related to gmelinite, with formula (Ca,Na2,K2,Mg)Al2Si4O12·6H2O
